Bosch Electronic Service can fall back on several decades of experience in vehicle electronics repairs. We started as a factory service for Blaupunkt radios and navigation systems, today we also repair complex control units for various applications in the automotive industry.
Additionally, at Bosch Electronic Service we repair devices for the most diverse vehicle manufacturers, including BMW, VW, Ford, Mercedes as well as Porsche in series production and consequently we can offer services in manufacturer quality.

During the repair work, we make use of testing technology that is also used in the manufacture of new parts. In our test towers, we simulate all situations in which the device must work in everyday life, e.g. different temperatures and input signals. Consequently, we can comprehensively check your device and safeguard a very in-depth analysis.
As a rule, vehicle-specific data remains available and calibration using a manufacturer-specific diagnostic tester is not necessary.
In the event of irreparable radios, we can often offer an exchange unit and transfer the vehicle data to it.
We only perform repairs with original parts.

Incidentally: In the event of a flat rate repair or replacement, we offer a warranty on the entire device, not only on the repaired fault.

Bosch can look back at over 80 years of developing, producing and repairing car radios and navigation systems. We developed the first car radio in Europe over 80 years ago. Bosch infotainment systems are particularly characterized by their high quality and simple operation. As a pioneer in the development of radio and navigation systems we can fall back on many years of experience and skills that make us stand out from our international competition.

When is a radio and navigation system faulty?

In most cases, you can identify external faults by some form of mechanical defects, such as missing buttons and damaged front trims. Most electronic faults become evident from audible irregularities, such as a sporadic radio signal or permanent signal noise.

If you identify such a defect, we can offer you various services to eliminate the issue:

Repairs at a flat rate or cost estimates depending on the device and offer.
Replacement with a new device after having returned the faulty device including transferring device data to avoid recalibration.
Advance exchange with a new device. Receive a new device and later send the damaged part back to us. In this case, it is unfortunately not possible to transfer the data beforehand.

Our engineers are characterized by many years of experience in repairing vehicle electronics. Our service is based on conventional standards and directives in electronics production, e.g. IPC-7711 or IPC-7721.
